Whoof, Whoof!
D.O.G. stands for "Doctrines of Grace". We usually associate this with another acronym known as T.U.L.I.P., which stands for the following:
1) Total Depravity
2) Unconditional Election
3) Limited Atonement
4) Irrisistable Grace
5) Preservation of the Saints
These doctrines as taught in the Bible make up the core or foundation of our understanding of salvation. They don't take the place of Christ who is the foundation, but point us to Him in the proper context. It's possible that many who lack scriptural understanding of salvation and yet call themselves Christians, worship a Christ that is foreign to what the Bible teaches about Him. This not only causes confusion, but one has to ask if we don't worship Christ for who He really is, but instead worship a "Christ" of our own making, do we really worship Christ at all?
It is our hope that through our many links, articles, and other web content that you'll grow in the knowledge of what the Bible teaches on this subject and thus avoid any pitfalls of false teaching.
